Book AppointmentProviding Preventative Care
Many eye diseases develop silently, often showing no symptoms until vision loss occurs. Regular checkups and modern technology help us detect issues early, preventing serious complications.
By staying ahead of conditions like diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, we can help preserve your vision for years to come.
Diagnostic & Imaging Tools
By using noninvasive, high-resolution imaging, we can track subtle changes in your eyes over time. This allows us to intervene if your eye health changes and create personalized treatment plans. Whether you need routine monitoring or specialized care for an eye disease, our diagnostic equipment gives us the precision and insight needed to protect and preserve your vision.
Optical Coherence Tomography
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) captures high-resolution cross-sectional images of the retina (back of the eye). These images help us diagnose and manage eye diseases and conditions like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. This noninvasive scan lets us detect changes in your eyes often before symptoms appear.
Optos Retinal Imaging
Optos imaging provides an ultra-widefield view of the retina (back of the eye) without dilation. Using Optos, we can detect issues such as retinal tears, retinal detachments, and diabetic eye disease, which can greatly affect your vision. This technology offers us a detailed look at your eye health in seconds.
Corneal Topography
Corneal topography maps the surface of the cornea (the clear, protective layer of your eye), helping diagnose conditions like keratoconus and astigmatism. This tool is also essential for fitting contact lenses and specialty contact lenses and assessing if you’re a candidate for laser vision correction.
Visual Field Testing
This test evaluates peripheral vision, which can help detect eye diseases like glaucoma. By mapping visual sensitivity, we can diagnose and monitor changes to your eye health over time.
Our Dry Eye Technology
Experiencing dry eyes can be uncomfortable, affecting your vision and performance at work. We use imaging technology to assess the health of the oil glands that line your eyelids and support your tears.
Using other tools, we can help treat your symptoms using different in-office procedures. With a customized approach and tailored treatment plan, we can help you deal with your dry eye syndrome.
LipiScan
LipiScan is a specialized imaging tool that assesses the health of meibomian glands (the glands that line your eyelids). These glands produce the oil layer of your tears. This quick and painless scan helps provide more information on dry eye, allowing for targeted treatment.
LipiFlow
LipiFlow uses heat and pressure to unclog meibomian glands, improving tear production and reducing dry eye symptoms. This in-office procedure can offer relief by restoring natural tear function.
OptiLIGHT by Lumenis
OptiLIGHT by Lumenis is a light-based, noninvasive treatment done in the area below the eyes to manage dry eye. The first and only IPL FDA-approved for dry eye management.
The treatment is safe, gentle, and is backed by more than 20 clinical studies.
OptiLIGHT uses precise pulses of light to reduce the inflammation that is typically associated with dry eye disease, improve tear break-up time, and increase meibomian gland functionality.
